As technology has made significant advances in our financial world, it has become apparent for purposes of convenience and simplicity that the church should offer an electronic funds transfer (EFT) program for givers to make contributions. This new program will allow contributions to be automatically deducted from either checking or savings accounts of givers on a specified date or dates.
When a giver signs up, the financial secretary will withdraw his/her specified donation amount from their bank account either once or twice a month. This EFT withdrawal will then appear on the giver’s monthly bank statement as well as included in their contribution statement from the church. Forms are available at the “Information Central Desk” in the foyer and in the church office to facilitate sign-up. You can also download this form here. It is hoped that this new program will benefit individual’s stewardship, reduce recordkeeping and ultimately enhance the ministries of the church.
To begin using EFT withdrawal for a new month, you must have your form turned in by the 20th of the month.
Special note that for any special offerings or extra donations to the deacon fund you would like to make… these offerings will need to be made by check, using the special pink envelopes with your designation written on the front.
