Connect

Now that you’ve been here a few times and want to make us your home church, here are a few tips on how you can get connected.

Attend Functions outside Sunday Services.

Ladies’ nights out, men’s event, kids’ activities, Roadrunner trips and more… there is always something going on at First Baptist. Each week – before and after our Sunday services – we have tables in the foyer where you can learn more about what’s going on. Sign up for a small group, attend a function or come to our Wednesday night gathering, “TownSquare” – where we’ll even feed you dinner! These smaller group settings are a great way to get to know people and meet new friends.

Think about Helping Out.

We’re always looking for people to help us fill holes in our ministries. Call the church office to see if there is an area you can help. If you’re not sure what you’d be good at, we’ll help you with that too! By taking you through a spiritual gifts test, we’ll be able to match your gifts with current ministry needs. Serving with others in our church community builds quick bonds – especially if you’re working with a group of rowdy middleschoolers who have more energy than you can imagine.

Become a Member

Membership is key in helping us run the church. Once you’ve completed our membership class, you’ll be able to have a say in the direction our church is going. Membership classes are held at various times throughout the year and usually take place after church on a Sunday afternoon.
